When I started this program, I was a little bit nervous when I thought about hormone medication and its’ possible side effects. The anxiety faded away as Family Line’s staff completely explained the process and answered every question I asked. They all were so nice and friendly, moreover they were very helpful to relieve all of my concerns.
Taking shots were nothing. I said to myself, “Wow, it’s far easier than I thought.
It’s ridiculous to get nervous like that.” I still wondered how it would be undergoing general anesthesia for the retrieval. But it was nothing either and the proceedure was done within 30 minutes.
I found a letter from the recipient in a gift after the retrieval. Although we have never met each other, “Thank you” in the letter moved me a lot.
I really felt it was worthwhile doing.

When I donated my eggs, it was a bit different experience than I thought and heard from other people. I didn’t feel much pain and it wasn’t a big deal at all.
I didn’t have any fear about taking the shots. I felt a little bit drowsy from anesthesia after the retrieval. It went away while I got my stomach warmed up and ate some yogurt as the first meal after the retrieval.
It was a little bit tough to keep medication schedule of pills and shots but I got used to it soon. I felt very secure during the process because every staff member kept in close contact with me.

How are you guys doing?
I really appreciate you all for letting me do this program this year. It was a good opportunity for me to learn about my own body and realize the value of good health. I’m looking forward to seeing you all next time.
